Shipping

When will you be collecting shipping?

We will collect all shipping, taxes, and customs fees through our pledge manager closer to fulfillment to get backers the best and most accurate prices possible.

Will you have a VAT friendly shipping solution for the UK and EU, and when will we find out?

We have secured EU and UK friendly shipping options with VAT and duties collected and handled by us, up front. When we’re ready to fulfill, we’ll lock down final prices and use the cheapest method for EU and UK backers (we have a few options and redundancies lined up for comparison).

Note that EU and UK customs-friendly prices will differ from our US based, non-customs-friendly fulfillment prices listed on our campaign page.

What about Canada? Will we have to pay customs fees?

As our fulfillment partner explained it to us, the method they use to ship from the US to Canada avoids any customs fees for Canadian customers. We’re still investigating all our options, but our current plan for CA shipping is less likely to change.

Pledge Manager & Add-Ons

If I pledge at the $1 level, will I have access to the pledge manager after the campaign?

Yes!

Will I be able to upgrade my pledge in the pledge manager after the campaign?

Yes!

Can I purchase physical copies of Breach of Contract, the Agent Class pamphlet, or the Anodyne Printware zines + pamphlets bundle as add-ons?

Add-ons will not be 100% finalized until after the campaign concludes, however the Anodyne Printware bundle WILL be available. We’re taking backer feedback into consideration on the other add-ons, and Breach of Contract and the Agent pamphlet are possible inclusions. The other Executive Suite tier items like the Sector Map poster and Teamsters Union Membership Card will most likely not be available piecemeal.

Can I purchase PDFs of rewards like Breach of Contract or individual Anodyne Printware zines separately as add-ons?

Possibly! We certainly want to offer an accessible digital version of Breach of Contract in one form or another. We hear you, we just need to put a little work into building out the pledge manager before we can commit to a final roster.

System Compatibility

Is Hull Breach compatible with the new 1e Mothership ruleset that was Kickstarted in November?

Yes! Hull Breach is 100% compatible with Mothership 1e.

Can I use Hull Breach with other sci-fi RPG systems?

Yes! While explicitly designed for Mothership, Hull Breach contains a plethora of tools and resources applicable to any sci-fi game. Also, as part of one of our stretch goals we’re working on a sci-fi RPG conversion guide that facilitates easy translation of Mothership stats and mechanics to and from your favorite sci-fi RPGs.

Will Digital Assets and Core Breach tier backers receive digital copies of the Agent Class pamphlet?

Yes! All backers at Digital Assets tier and up will receive a PDF, and all backers at Executive Suite tier and up will receive a physical copy.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
